This policy explains what information Avistashopping ("we", "us") collects when you visit avistashopping.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We try to collect as little as we need to run the site.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. If you sign up for our newsletter, the form collects the details it asks for, usually your name and email address.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and the services below may record your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page and the date and time of your visit.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them to understand how the site is used and to serve advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though ads may be less relevant.
Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic, such as which guides are read and how visitors find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and processes data under Google's own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on for disabling Google Analytics.
Advertising (Revive Adserver)
Ads on this site are delivered through Revive Adserver. The ad server may set cookies or use similar technology to limit how often you see the same ad, to count impressions and clicks, and to prevent fraud. Advertisers whose ads appear here may use their own tracking when you click an ad.
Newsletter form provider
Our newsletter signup form is provided by a third-party CRM service (Sphere CRM). When you submit the form, your details go to that provider, which stores them on our behalf so we can email you. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.
RSS headlines and outside links
Some pages show headlines from other publishers' public RSS feeds. We fetch those on our own server, so loading a page doesn't send your data to those publishers. When you click an outside link, including links in articles, you leave our site and that site's privacy policy applies.
How we use information
- To answer messages and send newsletters you asked for.
- To understand which content is useful and improve it.
- To show advertising and measure it.
- To keep the site secure and prevent abuse.
We don't sell your personal information for money. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your rights
California (CCPA/CPRA). California residents can ask what personal information we hold about them, ask us to delete it, ask us to correct it, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context advertising. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.
UK and EU (GDPR). If you're in the UK or the European Economic Area, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Our legal bases are your consent (newsletter, some cookies) and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Canadian and Australian readers have similar rights under their national privacy laws, and we'll respond to those requests in the same way.
How long we keep data
We keep contact messages only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Analytics and ad data are kept according to those providers' retention settings.
